CPR & First Aid Class Information:
Pet Tech is the premier Pet CPR, First Aid & Care Training on the planet. Our program is used by Homeland Security, TSA and is the recommended or designated Pet CPR & First Aid Training for the majority of Pet Care Professional Organization and Groups. This class is perfect for pet owners and Pet Care Professionals.
Our training is taught by lecture, demonstration and hands-on skills practice; the best way to learn, acquire and then successfully apply any new skill. The class includes a handbook and upon successful completion, each participant will receive a Pet Tech certificate of completion.
You will learn the latest veterinarian-approved pet First Aid/CPR protocols that include:
- rescue breathing
- restraining and muzzling
- choking management
- fractures/bleeding protocols
- care for heatstroke, frostbite, poisoning, seizures, shock and more
You will perform a snout-to-tail wellness and trauma assessment as well as learn how to check a dog’s vitals.
This class is 6 hours and includes a 40+ page handbook. Attendees will receive a certificate of completion.
